The Continual Fun of a Hamilton Summer

Beer Festival

Artful, history-rich Hamilton is a beautiful bastion of summer family fun for all. We’re thrilled that our condos share a home with all the sunny seasonal celebration going on here.

Here’s a small sample of summer in Hamilton to get you moving!

The Hamilton Beer Festival (August 19-20) is meant for all you lovers of the brew. Join in the jolly times at Bayfront Park. Food: all local, all delicious.

Bring your kids out for the grand opening of the Buchanan Park Splash Pad on Saturday July 23 from 3-7. Expect: bouncy castles, a climbing wall, exotic animals, an obstacle course, games, food, and refreshments.

For 50 years, the Shrine Circus has been providing unparalleled entertainment for the entire family. This year from July 14-17, Hamiltonians can visit neighbouring Ancaster to catch the renowned circus in action.
Hungry for more? Hamilton offers an all-you-can-eat fish fry for all on the first and third Friday of each month!

The annual Hamilton Fringe Festival (July 14-24) is now 13 years old! More than 40 companies are contributing over 300 performances, including musicals, dance, comedies, magic shows and more!

Proud Hamiltonians founded the Downtown Hamilton Ghost Walks over 15 years ago. Discover the remarkable (and spooky) stories of the Royal Connaught, Right House, Hamilton Place, Whitehern Mansion, and St. Paul’s Church, among others.

The Concession Streetfest takes place on August 13 this year. Expect a colourful jamboree of crafts, food, music, buskers, a sidewalk sale, and a Kid Zone with face painting, a petting zoo, and free inflatables!

And if you thought the fun ended with summer, think again. The James Street Super Crawl wasn’t named Tourism Event of the Year for nothing. Now in its 6th year, the mega-festival takes place from Sept. 9-11 this year and showcases a dynamic line-up of local, regional, national, and international music, art, fashion, performance, and more!
