Holiday Shopping in Toronto

Holiday Shopping in Toronto

If you know where to go, holiday shopping can be an incredibly fun and joyous occasion all on its own, especially if you’re in Toronto! Prepare to dress warm and venture out, because what our great city has to offer can’t be discovered by clicking “add to cart.”

The Hudson’s Bay store goes all out every Christmas with their next-level holiday displays, and its worth paying a visit just to check them out (or these other fabulous window displays if that’s your thing), but if you go inside, you’ll find all kinds of retail enchantment awaiting you there too. Whether its designer shoes, cosmetics, or classy home décor, you’ll find it in this historic shopping destination.

Head to vibrant, dynamic Queen West for a mix of indie boutiques, a few chain stores, and a huge selection of vintage finds. This is a rummager’s heaven. You can also take a break anytime in one of the neighbourhood’s hip cafés, or saunter through Trinity Bellwoods Park!

Running from November 24 to December 4, the One of a Kind Christmas Show is the largest consumer craft show in North America, and a truly one-of-a-kind spot for finding those really unique, top quality, carefully crafted treasures you weren’t sure you would actually find outside of your imagination. Peruse the handmade ceramics, textiles, jewellery, and other crafts that 800+ artisans and designers have on offer.

There really are endless options for holiday shopping in Toronto, so there’s no need to limit your scope. If you want to go the through-and-through festive route, here are a few more Christmas markets and holiday craft fairs worth checking out.
