Toronto Christmas Market

The Toronto Christmas Market runs from November 18th through December 22 this year, and has become a very well established tradition in Toronto. It’s the place to go when you want a potent dose of holiday spirit. The city’s Victorian-era Distillery District is transformed into a traditional outdoor European Christkindlmarkt for you and your family’s holiday wonder. Complete with carollers, charming craft and gift booths, rides, and a delicious variety of hot food and drink, this is a fiery Old World atmosphere you’ll not want to miss.

Kick back in a heated hospitality lounge and enjoy an authentic Christmas Market beverage, like the famous Glühwein (mulled wine), varieties of beer, or a good old hot toddie!

Over 350 free performances are planned for the main stage, including award-winning singers, brass bands, cultural dancers, and carollers. And for the little ones, the daily schedule includes a Santa’s Elves Sing-Along. Here’s a peek at the full schedule of events.

Visitors to the Market can also expect the best and most unique craftspeople, artists, artisans, and vendors. The Distillery Sunday Market Booth offers fresh, local, and artisanal products—all sourced from within 100 miles of the Distillery District. And Brandt’s Christmas Cabin is filled with mouth-watering deli meats and an impressive variety of German Imported Christmas chocolates! From the most gorgeous holiday ornaments to the finest foods, there’s something that will sate every palate. Check out the full list of vendors to get really inspired!

The event doesn’t stop at booths, though. They also offer a whole range of activities to participate in—some of them romantic, some enchanting, and all sure to help you feel jolly. From carolling challenges to walking tours, you can find the full roster of activities here.
